i am so excited to have this blog as a way to record and reflect on events in our lives and to share them with friends and family. my face lights up with excitement when i see there is a new comment on one of my blog postings! i really like to see who is reading, and what they think. it is very helpful to me if you sign your comments - then i know who cares enough to read and respond, and i can just continue to love on you as i think of you and what you have to say.

home again
lately it seems as though i have been saying "i'm home" or "we're home" more often. i am in full swing w/ my new job - doing home health PT. it is going very well. i say full-swing, but it is only 1.5 days per week. (which is PERFECT for us right now!) it is just enough for me to use my skills to help people, to reach out to people, to learn and grow as a professional, and little enough for me to not miss a beat as a mom and wife. some things have slowed down at home b/c of my new job - namely my blogging time - as you may have noticed. but, really, i think i can deal with that. :)
we also just returned home from mississippi. that is kinda fun to type m-i-s-s-i-s-s-i-p-p-i you should try it, but i digress. we were in mississippi for my cousin's son's graduation from the police academy. (this is chrisi - my cousin, and her son - brian)
here are some other pictures from the trip. we had a nice time. it was good to visit and spend time with family - who are also friends - which is AWESOME!
richard, nathan and i were able to take a walk by the beach. anyone who knows me, could probably tell you that it is nearly impossible for me to be anywhere near the beach without going to it!! although we kept a safe distance from the water b/c there is STILL junk of ALL kinds washing up from hurricane katrina.
here you can see nathan steering his stroller with his feet. i am TELLING you this boy is TALENTED!!
here he is playing the drums with bill, who is the boyfriend of one of our friends who lives there (heidi, who incidentally requested that no pictures of her be placed on the blog . . . ok, i'll let it go this time heidi). i'm telling you this baby is amazing!
here is kaleb, he is chrisi's grandson. he was having a great time in the bathroom at the hotel.
well - after a nice weekend a way - we are home.
