just asking

Hey there,
Not being a 'lunatic' or 'germaphobe' but just asking for you to pray for protection over us here because each day the 'new flu' (with a new name every day so that it doesn't offend someone) is getting closer and closer to us. Only God knows what His plans are with it, for it, and through it - please join me in prayer over it, lifting it up to Him.
I pray that it would be stopped - that God would protect and shield us - that He will comfort those effected by it - that He would get glory in and through all things.

from a heart relying on Him,
Ann

Easter Morning

We were all sick with some crazy headcold on Easter morning, and were'nt able to go to church. The whole family had been self 'quarantined' for about a week by this time. (We are all better now) but we didn't want to get anyone sick. Anyway - back to Easter - we couldn't go to church, but were able to watch it live streaming over the internet! How cool is that?!? It definitely does NOT take the place or even come close to celebrating our Lord with our church family - but it was good not to be totally cut off b/c of some stuffy noses and sore throats!

After watching church, we got to open Easter baskets. Here are some fun pictures from that:

Both boys had fun digging into the baskets
Noah really liked the Easter grass
I mean REALLY liked it!
Nathan liked getting to eat jelly beans!
REALLY liked it!
This is what happend after only FIVE jelly beans (yes 5, cinco - that is all!!)

This is what happened next!!

Precisely why we limit sweets! (unless we need furniture moved)

We had a very nice time reading stories and playing games to remind us of the true meaning of Easter and it was great family time together! I hope you had a blessed Easter!

HE LIVES!!

Nathan turns three!!

April 11, 2006 - Nathan was born Richard and I became parents of a beautiful baby boy.
Here we are celebrating his 3rd birthday!!Instead of a cake, we had a brownie cut into all of his favorite shapes and ate it with yummy vanilla ice cream! (stars, cars, airplanes, cowboy boots and hats, trains, fire engines, and semi-trucks) *Thank you Grandma for our cutters!!*

We took Nathan to the party store and had a fun time letting him pick out his own decorations. We had a trains, sports, fire trucks, and "Cars".

Nathan really enjoyed opening his presents . . .
and playing with them.

He is our gift from God!
