knowing that God cares for me

having God's Word to read
the moon

a job that i enjoy and makes a difference
our church
mentors who have taught me more than they will ever know
getting in touch with old friends
talking with my cousin who i haven't seen/talked to in 17 years (b/c of a move)
laughter
the promise of Heaven
flowers
soft grass
swimming pools
lakes and beaches

football season
freedom

come to think of it, i am also thankful for:

lonliness - b/c it draws me near to the One who will never leave me
darkness - to make the light seem so much brighter
quiet - to be still
sacrafice - to see what is really important


i am thankful - for i have been blessed abundantly - every day in so many ways
