we decided to start it out as just the mattress on the floor and put the rest of the bed under it after he got used to it. by the looks of this picture, that was a good idea!
here is how i found him that first morning. he was sleeping like that!
he has gotten much better already! we haven't found him on the floor after this one time. oh, that picture just makes me laugh inside!!

Yay for big boy beds! We're getting ready to buy Jet a twin bed. He's still sleeping on the crib mattress in a toddler-size bed.
