What more do I need to say????
He was picking up the big throw pillows (from the couch) off of the floor. He would hold it, then fall forward onto it laughing. I thought "he would be ok if that pillow wasn't so darn big and heavy." So I gave him one of the small red pillows - these are very light and very small. He took it in both hands and took three steps!
He just needed something in his hands!
He did it twice - then I got up and got the video camera - like any Mom would do. Don't you know that as soon as he saw that camera - he sat on his bottom and would not even stand up again!

Ellyn figured hers out in the last month or so, also. An aunt remembers her mom getting her little brother to walk by holding a wooden spoon - first mom would hold the other end of the spoon to help him balance, and then he just carried the spoon around. I guess it helps!
Fun to see another friend the same age! I enjoyed catching up with your posts today!
