What Nathan has been up to

I have to share this with you . . .

Nathan, Noah and I were driving around trying to find a particular item to buy. After the first store didn't have it, Nathan grew impatient and asked "Can we go home now?" I told him that we had to keep looking and we went to a second store - they also did not have the item. Nathan persisted asking "Can we go home now?" and stating "I want go home now, Mama." It was getting near dinner time, so we did head home. Nathan didn't realize that is where we were going, I guess, here is how it played out.
NATHAN: (in a very soft, pitiful sounding voice) Mama, I having a hard time.
ME: I am very sorry to hear that. What are you having a hard time with honney?
NATHAN: (very innocently) I having hard time getting Mama to go home.

I kept the laughter inside, and gently explained that we go home when Mama says it is time to go home, and he doesn't "get" Mama to go home. To which he replied, "I nunderstand dat - Mama want go home?"
************************************************************************************

Here is a video of tonight's dinner. I was gettting something together quickly for Noah to start eating while I finished cooking the rest of dinner. Nathan said, "Mama, I please help feed dat Noah."

Ann,

I just found your blog today (yes, I am a little slow). I spent quite a while going through and reading much of it and looking at all your terrific pictures. You do a wonderful job and you have a beautiful family. Cute and very funny story of Nathan's hard time!

Umm, Rich, when you get to be my age, you will hope that it is a long time before your kids have to feed you! :)
